Chevy Cobalt Solid Front Lower Control Arm Bushings – Pair
BK Racing Chevy Cobalt Solid Front Lower Control Arm Bushings were developed for performance and racing applications where factory rubber bushings allow excessive suspension movement, inconsistent alignment control, and vague steering response under load.
Factory lower control arm bushings are designed primarily for ride comfort and NVH reduction, but under aggressive cornering, braking, lowered suspension geometry, and high grip tire setups, the factory rubber bushings deflect significantly and allow unwanted suspension movement that negatively affects steering precision and chassis stability.
The BK Racing solid bushing design completely eliminates bushing compliance by replacing the factory rubber with a true billet aluminum zero-deflection mounting solution.
Designed specifically for lowered, cambered, coilover-equipped, and high-performance Cobalt setups, these bushings help maintain more consistent suspension geometry while improving steering response and front-end predictability during aggressive driving conditions.
Why Solid Control Arm Bushings Matter
As tire grip and suspension load increase, factory rubber bushings flex excessively and allow the control arm to move independently from its intended geometry. This movement contributes to:
• Inconsistent camber control
• Steering vagueness
• Front-end instability
• Uneven tire wear
• Bump steer sensitivity
• Reduced braking stability
By eliminating deflection, the BK Racing solid bushings paired with our rearward solid control arm bushings provide more direct chassis feedback and improved suspension consistency during racing and high-performance driving, For additional stability and consistency customers frequently pair with our Solid Rear Trailing Arm Bushings.

NVH Note:
Because these are true solid bushings with zero compliance, additional road vibration and chassis feedback compared to factory rubber or polyurethane bushings should be expected. These bushings were designed for builders prioritizing suspension precision and geometry control over factory ride comfort.
These bushings are commonly paired with BK Racing tie rod ends, steering stops, and solid drivetrain mounts for maximum front-end stability and steering precision.
Designed for off-road and racing applications.
