GM Ecotec LSJ/LNF Oil Cooler Adapter Plate – Remote Oil Cooler Conversion

BK Racing LSJ/LNF Oil Cooler Adapter Plates were developed for GM Ecotec racing and swap applications where the factory water-to-oil cooler becomes a packaging limitation, leak point, or unnecessary complication in high-performance environments.

The factory LSJ/LNF oil cooler assembly combines the engine oil and cooling systems through a water-to-oil heat exchanger mounted directly above the oil filter housing. While effective for OEM street use, these systems become a common failure point in racing applications where heat, vibration, elevated oil pressure, and sustained RPM operation place additional stress on the factory assembly.

The BK Racing adapter plate completely removes the factory oil cooler assembly and allows integration of a remote external oil cooler setup better suited for high RPM racing, turbocharged applications, and custom engine swaps.

Machined from billet aluminum and finished with a durable black protective coating, this adapter plate provides a clean and reliable solution for simplifying the Ecotec oiling system while improving engine bay clearance and oil cooling flexibility.

Installation Notes

The factory oil filter housing diaphragm/tube must be reused during installation. This internal oil routing component is required to properly direct oil flow through the remote oil cooling system.

Professional installation is recommended. Always verify oil pressure, oil flow, and proper remote cooler plumbing before engine operation.
