Signs Your Ecotec Is Suffering from Oil Starvation
Oil starvation doesn't always result in an immediate engine failure.

Low Oil Pressure During Cornering
One of the earliest signs of oil starvation is a momentary drop in oil pressure while entering or exiting a corner.
Many racers notice the oil pressure gauge briefly dip before immediately recovering as the car straightens out.
Although the pressure loss may only last a fraction of a second, it indicates the oil pump has temporarily lost its continuous supply of oil.
Repeated pressure drops should never be ignored, even if the engine appears to run normally afterward.
Oil Pressure Fluctuations at High RPM
