BK Racing GM Ecotec Performance Cylinder Sleeves (Kit of 4 sleeves)
Strengthen the Foundation of Your GM Ecotec Engine
When building a high-performance GM Ecotec engine, the cylinder block is the foundation of reliability. BK Racing GM Ecotec Performance Cylinder Sleeves were engineered specifically for Gen 3 GM Ecotec engine blocks requiring increased cylinder strength, improved stability, and large-bore capability beyond the limitations of factory cylinder sleeves.
Manufactured from premium centrifugally cast ductile iron with chromium-enhanced wear resistance, these precision-machined dry sleeves are designed for naturally aspirated, turbocharged, supercharged, and sustained high-RPM racing applications. Whether you’re repairing a damaged block or building a serious competition engine, BK Racing sleeves provide the strength and precision serious engine builders demand.

Why Choose BK Racing Ecotec Cylinder Sleeves?
Unlike generic replacement sleeves, BK Racing sleeves were developed specifically for serious Ecotec engine builders.
Every sleeve is individually measured, inspected, and grouped into matched four-cylinder sets based on body diameter and flange dimensions. This additional quality control helps improve installation consistency while providing a more uniform foundation during machining.
Designed for professional engine builders, these sleeves are intended for engines where reliability, cylinder stability, and machining precision are critical.
Designed for Serious Performance
BK Racing Ecotec Cylinder Sleeves are ideal for:
- Circle Track Racing
- Drag Racing
- Road Racing
- Time Attack
- Turbocharged Engines
- Supercharged Engines
- High Compression Naturally Aspirated Builds
- Large Bore Engine Combinations
- Professional Engine Rebuilds
As cylinder pressure and horsepower increase, maintaining cylinder stability becomes increasingly important for ring seal, durability, and long-term engine reliability.
Engine Compatibility
Designed for GM Gen 3 Ecotec engine blocks including:
- LNF
- LDK
- LE9
- LAF
- LEA
Compatible with Gen 3 Ecotec engine architecture.
Bore Capability
BK Racing sleeves can be finish honed from:
- 88.0mm
- 88.5mm
- 89.0mm
- 89.5mm
- 90.0mm
- 91.0mm
- 92.0mm
For most naturally aspirated racing engines, we generally recommend bore sizes between 88mm and 90mm.
Larger bores up to 92mm may be suitable depending on the intended application, cylinder pressure, machine work, cooling system, and overall engine combination.
Approximate remaining wall thickness at a 92mm bore: 0.058”

Professional Installation Recommended
BK Racing recommends installation by an experienced performance machine shop.
For best results:
- Measure all components before machining.
- Install sleeves using the proper interference fit.
- Deck the block after installation.
- Finish bore and torque plate hone to final size.
- Verify piston-to-wall clearance during assembly.
As with most high-performance racing sleeves, final machining should always be completed after installation.
