GM Ecotec Extra Clearance Spring Seats & Viton Valve Seals – High Lift Upgrade

BK Racing Extra Clearance Spring Seats and High Performance Viton Valve Seals were developed to increase installed height and valve lift capability when paired with BK Racing 83lb valve springs. Factory integrated Ecotec spring seats limit available lift and installed height, especially in aggressive high RPM camshaft applications where additional spring travel and retainer clearance become critical.

This upgrade replaces the factory integrated spring seat arrangement with hardened spring steel seats and high temperature press-on Viton valve seals designed to provide additional installed height while maintaining practical drop-in compatibility for many Ecotec cylinder heads.

The increased installed height reduces seat pressure slightly while significantly increasing available lift clearance and improving valvetrain stability in aggressive racing combinations.

When combined with BK Racing titanium retainers and 83lb valve springs, this package helps support sustained RPM operation commonly seen in circle track, drag racing, turbocharged, and endurance Ecotec applications.
